  • MTN Ghana Midnight Bundle Packages

    MTN Ghana Midnight Bundle Packages

If you are someone who prefers to browse and download loads of things from the internet instead of sleeping at night, we may have some good news for you.

However, this is only good news if you are a user of MTN Ghana. One of the most annoying things that could happen to you is running out of data while you are downloading Avengers Endgame.

You surely cannot download such a movie with a data bundle of 500MB. In this article, we will be showing you some amazing midnight offers available on MTN Ghana.

Users who have money in their mobile money wallets will be able to even purchase these midnight data bundles easily.

If you do not have money in your mobile money account, you will have to buy the airtime during the day and then keep it till the night since you cannot buy airtime anywhere at night.

Maybe some ghost has started selling some lol. Anyway, here we go.

The midnight data bundle is a category of the bundle that MTN users can use to browse at night at a much cheaper price than what is offered for day browsing.

The midnight data bundle can only be used at night and not during the day. The time allotted for the usage of the midnight data bundle is from 12 am to 5 am.

One amazing thing is that the midnight data bundle does not expire so users can make use of it at any time that they desire.

MTN Night Data Bundle And Prices

The cost of the MTN midnight bundle depends on the amount of data you are purchasing. The MTN midnight bundles are so cheap compared to the midnight bundles of other networks.

So here are the prices and the corresponding data bundle that it purchases. The data bundles can be purchased by using either airtime on your mobile or by buying with money on your MTN mobile money wallet.

    • GHS 1 purchases 2.87GB
    • GHS 1.99 purchases 5.72GB
    • GHS 2.00 purchases 5.74GB

There is, however, a special hack I would like to share with you. If you want to get enough bundles to download large movies, while you are entering the amount of money, enter GHS 2.99. MTN will end up giving you 8.59GB. Thank me later.

Everyone that uses the MTN Ghana network is eligible to purchase the midnight data bundles.

However, your MTN Ghana SIM card must be registered and the SIM card should be functioning correctly as well.

How to Subscribe For The MTN Midnight Data Bundles

Once you have loaded your MTN with enough airtime or you are sure that you have enough money in your mobile money wallet, follow the steps below to subscribe for the midnight data bundles.

    1. Dial *138#
    2. Choose option 2
    3. Choose option 1. You can also choose option 2 to purchase the bundle for other people
    4. Select option 1
    5. Input the amount you would like to purchase, between 0.1 to 2.99
    6. The details of the bundle will be shown to you if the amount entered matches that data bundle. Choose option 1
    7. Select option 1 to pay with airtime
    8. You will receive a confirmation message once the transaction is complete.
    9. To purchase the midnight data bundle with money from your mobile money wallet:
    10. Follow the steps given above until you reach where you have to choose the payment method.
    11. Select option 2 to use mobile money to pay for the data bundle
    12. You will then need to confirm the data purchase. Input your MoMo PIN
    13. Select option 1 to confirm the purchase
    14. A message will then be sent to notify you once the transaction is complete

Another hack I have for you is that you can use the midnight data bundle during the day. Most people do not know this so we are sharing this tip with you. Just don’t show it to MTN.

Your ability to use the data during the day will largely be based on the phone you are using.

If it is a current high-end phone then please forget about this hack. However, if your mobile is not a high-end phone, then MTN will not be able to detect the hack.

Here is the hack. You will have to turn off the automatic time update or you use network provider time. Different devices will use a different names but you should be able to see what we mean.

Now reset the time on your device to 12:15 am and then restart the phone to effect the new changes.

You will then be able o use the midnight data bundle during the day.

Please note that this hack may work or not depending on your device. It may also not work at all. Just pray before you try it. Lol.

So this article was about how you could get MTN midnight data to browse and download during the night. We also threw in a few hacks for you. Remember, they may work or not work. You can also check out Vodafone night packages.

  • Benefits Of Technology To Africa’s Food System

Benefits Of Technology To Africa’s Food System

Everyone knows that agriculture plays a crucial role in the growth of the African continent. It serves as the cornerstone for both the expansion of the economy and the eradication of poverty and environmental sustainability.

The food market of African nations continues to grow every day. There is even an estimation, that the African food market could triple to the $1 trillion mark from the $300 billion value it held about 3 years ago.

The total development in Sub-Saharan Africa consists of over 60% of agriculture.

The food system jobs however account for much more than the farming itself. In several African nations like Zambia, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania, and Malawi, more jobs are expected to be made available by the food system in those nations between the years 2010 and 2025.

However, the agricultural sector of the African continent is facing a lot of serious challenges that need to be resolved. The productivity of African agriculture falls short of others from other continents.

Undernourishment is also one problem being faced by people in Sub-Saharan Africa. Rapid population growth is further straining the agriculture and food systems in the region as well as the climate change that is occurring.

The challenges faced by the security of food will get worse with the growing intensity of climate change. This in turn threatens the good yield of crops and livestock production on the continent.

If there is no mode of adaption to the agricultural sector, the production of one of Africa’s biggest staple crops, which is maize could see a significant drop by more than 40% by the year 2050.

Business approaches to the agricultural sector in Africa are also not fit for the transformation of the sector to meet its full potential.

Digital technology could be used to solve some of the problems facing the agriculture sector in Africa. There are ways through which digital technology can be used to transform Africa’s food system.

Startup in African agriculture is one of the important areas to look at. These startups are an emerging force in the majority of African countries.

One of the most notable technological tools is known as ‘Hello Tractor’ this one helps in connecting farmers with people who own tractors so that the farmers will be able to rent the smart tractors, which are being touted as a potential game-changer in the African agricultural sector.

There is an estimated number of about 13 smart tractors that can be accessed by farmers within a distance of 100.000 kilometers and about 200 tractors globally.

One other digital technological tool that is being used to connect farmers is known as 2KUZE.

This connects farmers to buyers, agents, and banks in nations like Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.

With the 2KUZE platform, smallholders can connect easily to buyers as well as agents so that they will be able to get the best prices possible for their goods and also receive the payments directly themselves on their mobile phones. (You can check out our guide on E-Zwich payment system in Ghana)

This helps them to avoid having to walk in the markets for hours and hours.

Digital technology can also help the farmers to get access to capital as well as the needed resources.

Farmers can now rent farm equipment at the touch of a button. These are tools that would have otherwise required a hefty sum to acquire which the farmers may not have had.

Digital technology can also help small players in the agricultural sector to be integrated into the value chain.

E-commerce platforms can link consumers to producers easily, easing the sweat that farmers had to go through before they could reach consumers to purchase their goods.

Digital technology can also be used to get information on the lands by the use of precision tools. This helps to boost the yield of the food production sustainably.

This information is made readily available to the farmer when he needs it. The world bank is already getting involved with the many startups in the African sector to help them in growing the African food system.

These are some of the ways through which digital technology is being used to improve the agricultural sector in Africa.

With time, digital technology will be able to transform the face of the African agricultural sector and boost the produce to a quite significant number

  • A Look At Some Samsung Galaxy Note Series And Their Prices In Ghana

A Look At Some Samsung Galaxy Note Series And Their Prices In Ghana

Samsung is regarded as one of the best smartphone manufacturers in the world. In Ghana, most people do not respect your smartphone if it is not made by either Apple or Samsung.

Samsung has produced several series of phones which have a long line of models each. In this article, we will be looking at the Galaxy Note series from the first Note model to the last.

    Galaxy Note

The Galaxy Note was the first model spawned in 2011 in the long Note line. Samsung was able to ship a whopping 10 million units when it was released.

It came with an Android 2.3 which could be updated to 4.1 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor for North America while other nations were given the Exynos 4210 processor.

It had a 5.3” HD display, which was one of the largest at the time, along with its stylus.

    Galaxy Note 2

Unveiled in 2012, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was able to sell over 3 million units within the first 3 months of its release.

It had a curvier and more ergonomic design and was slimmed down in some places to avoid making it look big.

It also came with the stylus pen found in the original Galaxy Note. This was also the first phone with a split-screen feature that allowed you to use two apps at the same time with one app on top and the second show at the bottom.

You could also view content by simply hovering the s pen over where the content was.

    Galaxy Note 3

The Galaxy Note 3 came with a larger 5.7” Full HD display and 4K video capture. It had Gorilla Glass 3 and a high-quality DAC with a host of other sensors.

This proved to be a hit as Samsung could sell 10 million units in the first 2 months. The S-pen also came with a new feature which was known as the S menu which showed the shortcut for most applications. It was the first phone with a RAM of 3GB.

It had a much faster processor compared to the previous models and had an all-glass body with an emphasis on ergonomics.

It was the first note model which did not have a removable battery and eliminated the memory card slot, which was a bad idea.

The spring-load S-pen assembly could also break if it was inserted the wrong way (mine suffered this flaw). Despite all these, note 5 still managed to break the series’ sales record.

    Galaxy Note 7

The number 6 was skipped in favor of reaching the number 7 early as Samsung launched the note 7.

It was the first mobile with a USB-c connecter. The memory card slot also returned with note 7.

The S-pen on Note 7 came with some amazing features such as translation, screen magnifier, and could record GIFs as well.

The note 7 could also be used for making payments with the iris scanner which came with the Samsung pass.

The pre-order demand in South Korea was higher than expected. There were however reports of the phone sometimes overheating and then catching fire and exploding.

Due to this, its production was discontinued barely 2 months later. There was however a refurbished model that came out later and was called the Note 7 fan edition.

These had smaller batteries and a host of safety features.

It also had a dedicated key for Bixby virtual assistant. A screen-off memo allowed users to write notes on the locked screen.

The S-pen was now upgraded to be able to control the phone remotely. Both phones had a 16MP ultra-wide and dual-aperture primary with telephoto lenses.
